Lady’s Island is all marsh views, tidal creeks and big oaks, and all of that makes for green siding, streaked roofs and slick walkways. Steadfast Pressure Washing is a family-owned, licensed and insured crew based in Beaufort, just across the river, so the island is never far away. We soft wash houses and roofs, clean driveways, decks and fences, and stain outdoor wood for homeowners all over Lady’s Island.

A Local Crew Close By
Whether you’re just over the Woods Memorial Bridge from downtown Beaufort, near the McTeer Bridge on the Port Royal side, or out along Sams Point Road, you’re close to us. That matters more than it sounds:
- Weather-friendly scheduling. When an afternoon storm pushes a job back, a short drive makes it easier to find the next good day.
- We know the conditions. Wooded lots, marsh-front homes along the creeks and newer homes off the main roads each come with their own cleaning problems.
- One crew for everything. House, roof, gutters, driveway, deck and fence, handled by the same people.
Marsh Humidity, Live Oaks & Mildew
Lady’s Island sits between the Beaufort River and the Coosaw River, with salt marsh and tidal creeks on almost every side. That’s what makes it beautiful, and it’s also why exteriors here get dirty in a particular way.
Morning dampness. Marsh-front and creek-side homes stay damp well into the morning, especially in spring and fall. The north and marsh-facing walls hold that moisture longest, and that’s where green algae and black mildew show up first on vinyl siding and trim.
Oak canopy and Spanish moss. Many island lots sit under live oaks draped in Spanish moss. Shade keeps roofs and siding from drying out, so roofs grow black algae streaks and moss, and decks and walkways go green. Live oaks also drop most of their leaves in spring, which fills gutters at a time of year people don’t expect.
Pollen season. Every spring, pine and oak pollen coats screen porches, cars, railings and siding in yellow. On damp surfaces it mixes with mildew into a grimy film. A spring wash after the pollen settles is a popular time to book.
Salt air on the water. Homes facing open water and wide marsh views pick up a dull salty film on windows, siding and railings that holds dirt.
Our soft wash process is built for this. We use low pressure with a low-percentage sodium hypochlorite solution that kills algae and mildew at the root, and we rinse your plants before and after, which matters on island lots where azaleas, palmettos and flower beds sit right against the house.

Lady’s Island Pressure Washing FAQs
Do you serve all of Lady’s Island?
Yes. Lady’s Island is part of our regular service area. If you’re unsure about your address, put your ZIP in the quote form.
How often should a Lady’s Island home be washed?
Most homes do well with a wash every 1 to 2 years. Marsh-front homes and homes under heavy oak shade often need it every year, because they stay damp longer.
Can you clean my roof if it’s under live oaks?
Yes. Shaded roofs under oaks are some of the ones that need it most. We soft wash with low pressure, which kills the algae and moss without stripping shingle granules. Trimming back branches over the roof also helps it stay clean longer.
Will your cleaning hurt my plants?
We pre-rinse your plants, use a low-percentage solution, and rinse everything again afterward.
What affects the price of pressure washing on Lady’s Island?
The size and height of the home, how much growth there is (shaded and marsh-front homes usually have more), the surfaces involved and access. Long driveways and big decks add time. We quote every job for free.
