Driveway & Concrete Cleaning in Beaufort, SC

Concrete is the first thing people see when they pull up, and in the Lowcountry it doesn’t stay clean for long. Shade, humidity and red clay turn driveways, sidewalks and walkways gray, green and streaky. We clean concrete, pavers and brick with professional surface cleaners for an even, stripe-free finish, then rinse everything clean.

Before and after concrete driveway pressure washing in Beaufort, SC

Driveway & Concrete Cleaning: Sidewalks & Walkways

Concrete is porous. It soaks up water and anything in it, so mildew and algae grow right into the surface, especially in shady spots under oaks and along the edges where the lawn meets the slab. Tire tracks, leaf stains and runoff from the gutters add to it.

We clean:

  • Driveways and parking pads
  • Front walks and the public sidewalk in front of your house
  • Side walkways, steps and stoops
  • Curbs and gutter pans along your property

Paver Cleaning in Beaufort, SC

Pavers and brick look great until the joints fill with dirt, moss and weeds and the surface turns dark and slippery. We clean pavers with the right pressure for the surface, so we lift the grime without chipping the edges or blasting the joints more than we have to.

Our Surface-Cleaning Process

  1. Clear and look over. We sweep off loose debris and note stains, cracks, loose pavers and anything we should work around.
  2. Pre-treat. We treat organic growth and spot-treat oil stains before washing.
  3. Surface clean. Instead of a wand that leaves stripes and “zebra” marks, we use a professional flat-surface cleaner with spinning nozzles that hold an even distance from the concrete. You get one consistent, even clean.
  4. Edge and detail. We clean edges, steps and the spots the surface cleaner can’t reach.
  5. Rinse. We rinse the dirty water off the slab and away from your siding and beds.

Oil, Rust & Red-Clay Stains: What to Expect

We’ll be honest up front:

  • Mildew, algae, dirt and tire marks usually come out completely.
  • Oil and fluid stains can often be lightened. Fresh stains respond best. Older or set-in stains may not fully come out, so we can’t promise complete removal.
  • Rust stains from irrigation water, fertilizer or patio furniture don’t come out with a regular wash. Point them out when you request a quote so we can tell you what to expect.
  • Red clay washed onto the concrete usually cleans up well, but deep staining may fade rather than vanish.

We’ll tell you what to expect before we start, so there are no surprises.

What Affects the Price

  • Square footage: a long driveway takes longer than a short pad
  • How dirty it is: years of buildup take more time and treatment
  • Stain treatment: oil spot treatments
  • Surface: pavers and brick take more care than plain concrete
  • Access, and whether vehicles can be moved
  • Other areas on the same visit: many customers add the sidewalk, walkways, patio or a house wash

Every job is quoted individually, and the quote is free.

Driveway & Concrete FAQs

Can you remove oil stains from my driveway?

We can often lighten them, and fresh stains respond best. Older or set-in oil may not fully come out, so we can’t promise complete removal. We’ll tell you what to expect before we start.

Will pressure washing damage my concrete or pavers?

Not when it’s done right. We use a surface cleaner and the correct pressure for each surface. Cracked, flaking or very old concrete needs extra care, and we’ll point that out first.

How often should I clean my driveway in Beaufort?

Once a year is a good rule for most homes. Shady driveways, or ones that get irrigation overspray, may need it more often.

How long does it take to dry?

Usually a few hours in good weather. We’ll let you know when it’s OK to park on it again.

Do you clean pavers and brick too?

Yes. We clean paver and brick driveways and walkways with the right pressure for the surface. For patios and pool decks, see our patio cleaning page.
